I didn't discover Zelda until quarantine in 2020. Alone in my apartment with just my cat for company, after months of isolation—unsure when I’d next hug another person—Breath of the Wild became my escape. As producer Black Taffy once said about game-inspired music: "It's about building worlds that heal." That’s exactly what this game was for me: not just a distraction, but a sanctuary. Still is.

The title Six Arrows for Naydra references one of BotW’s most surreal quests: guiding Link as he glides down a glacial peak beside Naydra, an ice dragon corrupted by glowing malice. With each arrow you loose, her sickness falls away until she’s freed—an experience that, as Black Taffy might put it, "feels like lullabies for lonely adventures." My first playthrough left me spellbound, caught between dream and reality.
