Though Flowstrong may be a new name to many of you, this young, multi-talented producer/beat-maker/vocalist has, in a very short time, already made quite an impact throughout Taiwan.

Known for his experimental sound design and intricate drum beats, Flowstrong has collaborated on a number of high-profile projects, including the grand prize for Oursong’s remix challenge of Grammy-winning artist, Kimbra’s ‘The Way We Were’, Hogan T.'s debut album "Loose Faucet," Taiwanese Hip-Hop icon ILL MO's "Man on a Mission," and the new single "For Sure" with GMA-Nominated LEO37 and Robot Swing, alongside international powerhouse, SVDP.

But now, it's Flowstrong’s turn to step into the spotlight with his debut beat tape, Study (of) Breaks.

This collection of 7 tracks is a testament to Flowstrong's approach to music, both as a mental escape and a passionate subject of study. Sonically, the beat tape centers around Flowstrong’s innovative production style of manipulating drum breaks. Each track travels its own path between hip-hop and electronic music while evoking energies ranging from soothing to chaotic. 

On top of Flowstrong's instrumental storytelling, Study (of) Breaks features solid instrument performances from Mujay Chung, Hogan T., and Ting An Chen, as well as stunning vocal performances from DaBao, Roni, and Flowstrong himself.
