What began as a private gesture of care during 2020's lockdowns became I Hope You Are Well—Los Angeles pianist/producer Moki Kawaguchi (Lionmilk) originally created this soul-jazz ambient meditation as cassette-only therapy. Each home-dubbed tape was personally delivered to mailboxes of struggling friends and family, its 57 minutes of warm piano and drifting harmonies offering respite from pandemic anxiety.

When Leaving Records discovered I Hope You Are Well in late 2020, they recognized its quiet power, transforming Lionmilk's intimate remedy into a universally healing release. Now this therapeutic soundscape, born from isolation, reaches outward—still whispering its titular wish to all who listen.
