andrew cs is a multi-media artist and innovative programmer hailing from the American Midwest. Their work investigates recursive time loops through the lens of personal digital archives, merging recorded environments with intricately manipulated synthesized loops created via bespoke software.

After a quiet encounter with a field recorder during teenage, andrew began systematically documenting transient moments of tranquility, compiling extensive archives of contemporary sound textures in dialogue with a projected future self.

Their debut album, caught in pointers, presents a non-linear narrative of maturation, constructed from six years of transformed field recordings. By integrating sonic data from the rural settings of their youth with the dynamic soundscape of Chicago, andrew conceptualizes their past as a multidimensional space navigable through digital media.
