Auto-stop: When a cassette tape is played to its full length, the cassette player will automatically stop playback to prevent battery drain.
Built-in Speaker: PLAYME has a built-in speaker, allowing you to play music directly without the need to connect headphones or external speakers. If you would like to enjoy better audio quality, you can insert a 3.5mm headphone jack or use the included 3.5mm dual-male cable to connect your own speakers for playback.

Why we make this?
Many people want to experience the sound of cassette tapes, but they've given up on the idea because they don't have a player. As a brand that promotes cassette tapes, we hope that more people can enjoy the pleasure of listening to cassettes, so we have started to launch cassette players.
The first entry-level cassette player we are introducing, we hope to dispel the misconception about the audio quality of analog, and release a cassette player that is suitable for beginners while also having good sound quality.
Take your PLAYME cassette player with you on-the-go. Enjoy the nostalgic sound of cassettes anytime, anywhere.
FAQs
The white button on the PLAYME is the recording button, and PLAYME also has a built-in microphone, making it convenient to insert a blank cassette tape and record your own voice anytime.
Before recording, prepare a blank cassette tape and some adhesive tape. Most cassette tapes have two notches, which are designed to prevent accidentally pressing the record button and erasing the original audio. Therefore, after preparing your audio, you can use transparent adhesive tape to seal the two notches on the blank cassette tape, then you can press the record button (if there are no obstacles on the notches, the button cannot be pressed down) and speak into the microphone to record.
If you want to record a digital audio file, you can use the 3.5mm dual-headed cable included in the box to connect the MIC port of the PLAYME to the Earphone port of the computer. Adjust the computer volume properly, press the REC button, then press the PLAY button on the computer's media player, and the audio file will be successfully recorded onto the cassette tape.
The differences between mono and stereo can be noticed when listening with headphones or more than one speaker. When listening to mono audio through headphones, the music will be evenly outputted through both earcups, with no volume changes between the two sides. However, when using PLAYME to listen to stereo cassette tapes, you can enjoy the three-dimensional changes in the music between the two sides.
Nowadays, most cassette tapes are recorded in stereo, so using PLAYME to listen to these recordings will provide a more immersive listening experience.
The cassette player's head needs to be given a simple cleaning after each use, as well as undergoing regular deep cleaning, in order to properly maintain the cassette player.
We recommend gently wiping the head with a cotton swab dampened with alcohol after each time you finish playing a cassette tape. Every two weeks, you can use the head cleaning tape that comes with the cassette or one available on the market to perform a more thorough cleaning.
Simply apply the cleaning fluid onto the tape, insert it into the cassette player and press play. Play through one side, then flip and play the other side. Repeat this 3-5 times to easily clean the head and pinch roller.* If you start to experience "tape eating", you can try using this cleaning method. If the issue persists, it may mean your cassette player needs a new belt.
No. The TYPE-C power source can only be used for wet battery power supply, it cannot be used for charging.
